A flower garden font (Hanazono font) is the kanji font of the open source developed in GlyphWiki[1]. グリフ of the kanji is the center, and the hiragana letter, the katakana was not included to a version on February 22, 2010, but is included after the version on July 18, 2010. There is only Ming-style of penmanship, but the Gothic is planned now, too.

Generation method

Manual operation is semiautomatic and makes グリフデータ in GlyphWiki and converts グリフデータ into vector data of the Ming-style of penmanship in KAGE/engine of the conversion engine and I bundle up vector data in FontForge and perform hinting and generate a font [2].

グリフデータ of GlyphWiki is developed on Wiki. I can use it with a license near public domain, and the dump is shown, too [3].

 
GlyphWiki Drawfont Tool

KAGE/engine of the conversion engine is written by a JavaScript. I was shown in GPLv3 [4], and the derivation trial manufacture conversion engine which generated circle Gothic was made by y-iijima [5]. In addition, in GlyphWiki Drawfont Tool shown in GPLv3, the different conversion engine implementation (guinea pig tomorrow morning) written in Python is made.
