陳玄興

The painter that 陳玄興 (ちんげんこう, Chen Xuanxing, from 1647 to 1703) is the first among light Suekiyo.

I introduce myself as 法祖, 浄得. The Japanese family name is Egawa.

I loved Dokai Choon and visited Japan and I resided in Nagasaki and did an image product. In addition, I was good at a poetry sentence abreast of study of Confucianism.

I give to Tsunayoshi Tokugawa "Buddha rain treasure Confucius Three Religions image" in (1678) for Enpo era six years [¹]. I receive (1680), license of the sound of waves for Enpo era eight years, and 偈 is given. I returned to Nagasaki in the later years and, for Genroku era 16 years, sensed the death and claimed 寂斎居士 and sank in "a sitting and lying white break in the clouds" and the paper-made mosquito net which signed without a behavior island. The age at death57。

The style of painting influenced the establishment of Nagasaki Chinese pictures.
