Workflow editing

As a language to describe the structure of the workflow, XML-based XAML is used well. However, I can express a workflow with the cord of the language (VB.NET, C#, C++/CLI) for any .NET.

The workflow is comprised of "an activity". The developer can write an inherent activity and uses it for a workflow. Some control structure is prepared for as a general-purpose activity in WF.

An expansion set of Windows Workflow Foundation is supported in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. The visual debugger which is available for the debugging of a visual workflow designer and the workflow, the project system for the workflow are included in it.

Practice management of the workflow

It is the practice of the workflow and facility managing and, for the .NET Framework 3.0 workflow run time, is carried out in any CLR application domain (as Windows Service as Console Service as Web Application).

The host offers the services such as the Syrian rise as needed. I can arrest you with an event (I became an idol I stopped) of the instance of the workflow.

Communication with the workflow

In WF workflow, the interface of the event is defined as the outside world and a method to communicate. The host application sets environment before carrying out a workflow and offers the object which implemented those interfaces.

When the object which implemented those interfaces produces an event, a supporting workflow delivers data in response to it.

The method in the interface is called for the communication with the host by a workflow.
