Ogikubo water
The Ogikubo water (おぎくぼようすい) draws water from Hayakawa in Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa and is an irrigation canal of approximately 10.3km in total length to flow through Ogikubo, Odawara-shi. I am called Yumoto dam, the Ogikubo dam.

Summary
I draw water in roller dam in Yumoto, Hakone-machi (approximately 106.3m above sea level). The waterway is constructed by the tunnel of 17 big things and small things and a canal of the meantime and, via districts of Iriuda, Odawara-shi, Kazamatsuri, Itabashi, Mizunoo, reaches the Ogikubo district (approximately 95.5m above sea level) in the north of Odawara Station. Process of the establishment
The Ogikubo, Odawara-shi district was Ogikubo-mura, Ashigarashimo-gun in the Edo era. I desired that the villager got water on this ground in an out-of-the-way village without the rice field and opened the rice field. Farmer, Hirozo Kawaguchi of Koorigawa-mura, Ashigarakami (existing: Yamakita-machi, Ashigarakami-gun, Kanagawa) appeared to Ogikubo-mura by the peddling of the slack season for farmers there. The monument which praised the achievement of the wide storehouse was built in (1957), the Ogikubo district in 1957. It is said that a custom to advocate "a wide storehouse prayer to Buddha" during the equinoctial week is in the Ogikubo district now.
Yamagata Channel
When politician, Aritomo Yamagata ran a villa "seventy years of age hermitage" in Ashigarashimo-gun Okubo village Itabashi at the time in (1907) in 1907, private water supply called "Yamagata Channel" which drew water from Kazamatsuri of the Ogikubo water as a water source to use for the garden of the villa, and supplied the seventy years of age hermitage with water was made.
School of the killifish
Nursery rhyme is told that Shigeru Chaki of the writer of children's story wrote a song of this Ogikubo water in a model in "the school of the killifish". Odawara-shi released killifish beside the water of the Ogikubo district as an oasis in (1996) in 1996 and founded "a school of the killifish".
