Hokuriku free ticket
The Hokuriku free ticket (ほくりく - じょうしゃけん) is the special plan ticket which East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) released from the spring of 2013 to the spring of 2015. It was the discount ticket which the coming and going from Tokyo District to the Hokuriku free area set, and, in the Hokuriku free area, the getting on and off of the local train was free.
By this article, I speak a sightseeing in Hokuriku-free ticket (JR East) released in the spring of 2006 and the Hokuriku-free ticket released from the summer of 2006 to the spring of 2013.

Summary
It was the release end with for use on March 31, 2013, and "a Hokuriku-free ticket" released as a reserved seat round-trip discount, free ticket in the area via the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo District to the Hokuriku district till then released only a ticket part as "the Hokuriku free ticket" of the local train-free ticket in coming and going discount, the area newly from April 1, the same year, and it was started.
The round-trip course to the free area is appointed by Takasaki Line (Omiya - Takasaki), Joetsu Line (Takasaki -6 days-cho or Nagaoka), Hokuetsu district express Hokuhoku Line (Muikamachi - Saigata), Shinetsu Main Line (Nagaoka or Saigata - Naoetsu), Hokuriku Main Line (Naoetsu - Kurobe) and can just take it by local train on this course. Furthermore, Joetsu Shinkansen (Tokyo or Omiya - Echigoyuzawa or Nagaoka) and "はくたか" change limited express trains of "Hokuetsu district" in Echigoyuzawa or Nagaoka, and they can take it by paying an express fare particularly.
The free area can get on and off local train freely for four days. In addition, a ride is possible on a limited express train by paying an express fare. The free area is section with less than it of West Japan Railway Co. (West Japan Railway).

Hokuriku free ticket
Summary
As a reserved seat coming and going discount ticket via the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo District to the Hokuriku district, released "Kanazawa coming and going ticket" and "Toyama coming and going ticket" (all effective for seven days) became the release end with for use till then on July 31, 2004, and an effective ticket was released as "a Hokuriku-free ticket" from for use on August 1, the same year for form that I integrated them and added a newly free area to and four days when it was.
Car use and two types for the extra charge green car are usually set. Joetsu Shinkansen and "はくたか" change limited express trains of "Hokuetsu district" in Echigoyuzawa or Nagaoka, and, for the coming and going to the free area, they are available. As for the car use, the extra charge green car use can usually use an extra charge green car reserved seat in a common car reserved seat. In addition, I was able to use the B bed (including private room "solo" for the one) until bed limited express "Hokuriku" was abolished in time schedule revision of March 13, 2010.

The free area of Hokuriku Main Line was enlarged from release at Fukui Station - Kurobe Station on June 1, 2010 (till then section of Kaga-Onsen Station - Toyama Station); [1].
The beginning of release was included in the whole line of Toyamako Line, but was removed from the free area when the line was abolished as West Japan Railway on March 1, 2006.
Kind, validity
If the common car use is for an adult, as for the extra charge green car use, only as for the adult use, child use is released. The child use is half price for adult. Validity is all four days. Because I am not established during the use limit period, it is available during a period for New Year holidays and Golden Week.

When a free area of Hokuriku Main Line was enlarged, I am raised by 100 yen. On the other hand, Toyamako Line is excluded from the free area, and a price is left unredeemed by the abolition of bed limited express "Hokuriku" when the B bed became inapplicable.
Sightseeing in Hokuriku-free ticket

The main differences with "Hokuriku free ticket" are as follows.

- The adult use is available only when two or three become the same trip. The child use is available only when it becomes the trip same as adult use.
- There is not the extra charge green car use.
- Validity is three days.
- When I use bed limited express "Hokuriku", only a fare becomes effective, and a limited express ticket, a sleeping-car ticket is necessary particularly.
- I add it to the free area of "the Hokuriku free ticket" in the free area, and Hokuriku Main Line Fukui Station - Kaga-Onsen Station interval is had.
- As for the price for the one, 16,500 yen, the child use are 3,000 yen 17,000 yen, from Omiya - Kawaguchi, Todakoen from East Kyoto Ward for adult regardless of a departure station.
