アウデナールデ (Dutch: Oudenaarde, French: Audenarde (オーデナルド)) is the basic local government in the Oost = フランデレン state of Belgium (I transcribe it into "a city" for convenience as follows). It is アウデナールデ city and ベフェーレ (Bevere), エデラーレ (Edelare), a ray (Eine) and is エナーメ (Ename) L (Heurne) and レペヘム (Leupegem), Martell (Mater), Mel den (Melden), ミュレム (Mullem), ネーデレナーメ (Nederename), well den (Welden), each town of フォルケヘム (Volkegem) and O are good and become from some (Ooike) towns.

I was known for tapestry production worldwide in (in a thing the 16th century) from the 15th to the 18th century, and, as for the name of the town which meant "old meadows", it was with the etymology of English "out null" (Outnal) to point to kind of the brown linen thread (just a dead language). I take the nickname of "the pearl of フランデレン Ardennes".

History

Glory of エナーメ

It is started from doing the history of the present アウデナールデ city to German King, and the Otto second of the sacredness caesar having built the fort in エナーメ of the スヘルデ river banks of a river. Similar defense facilities for aggression of Frank Empire were put in Valenciennes and Antwerp. エナーメ developed in a moment and became the ロタリンギア which comprised two cathedrals by 1005's greatest town. It was supported by a sudden rise of transportation by water and clothing, the tapestry industry of the スヘルデ river, and the economy was full of the height of prosperity in the eleventh century. A church and a monastery, a hospital were built. Because the town of アウデナールデ served to check a revolt to happen in great earl びいきで, the south including Ghent through the Middle Ages, I was known as "the house of gentlemen". I can still see the town office built from 1526 through 1537. The curl fifth stayed for two months in 1522 and established the マルゲリータ Dow strike rear that became the Governor-General of Netherlands.

The アウデナールデ citizen was allied with Ghent in the Reformation about Protestantism and revolted against the curl fifth. After a long-term siege by Lord of Parma Alessandro Farnese of the child of マルゲリータ, in the city, even an omission, a merchant and a worker, a gentleman took refuge in the hand of the empire in 1582. The recovery of the tapestry business was seen by the opposition Reformation once, too, but did not come back for the days of the glory. I received an attack, occupation after this three times from France in 100 years. A fight of アウデナールデ of the succession war in Spain was exchanged in the suburbs in 1708. Under the Hapsburg empire system, アウデナールデ lost vitality.

The influence of the French Revolution appeared in the form called the fall of the religious authority in this district. Some monuments conveying the war damage of World War I in now are employed in the city.
