The university where the Vancouver island University (British: Vancouver Island University) is located at the coast of Canada British Columbia in eastern Vancouver Island. I assume Malaspina University founded in 1969 (British: Malaspina University-College) a forerunner and am a university having a bachelor, a master's course. I set up the satellite campus in the Kan Dan Powell river parks building in Nanaimo in a main campus. [2] Our university lays emphasis on business, the marine products industry, indigenous people education, a music program mainly. The number of the foreign students is approximately 1,200 people. [1]

Facilities
In late years much enlargement, reconstruction was carried out to provide facility for the number of the students in the tendency to increase. (the New Theatre of 294 accommodation, redecorated library, bookshop, gymnasium, fitness center art & music studio, scientific & computer laboratory, research institute, occupation counselor's office, cafeteria, students' hall)
In the new library in the main campus, I provide this more than 230000 / magazines, online resource multimedia computer facilities. In addition, at many places in the campus, the use of the wireless Internet is possible.
In the campus, there is a student dormitory (Student Residence Village) providing 400 rooms to. In late years plural new student dormitories were built outside the campus.
There are ice rink .400 meters truck land sports stadium, a soccer ground, a baseball field, basketball for the ice hockey and a beach volleyball outdoor court from the main campus within the range of a 5-minute walk if for Olympics size pool water slider skating. [3]
