Typographer

Typographer

The typographer (British: typographer) says the skill person who was familiar with the typography that can command production of the printed matter for all steps (mainly on the book in particular) including composing type, print, the bookbinding of the printing type. For the total compatibility for such the print technology, it is distinguished from a style of handwriting designer designing the printing type style of handwriting, a graphic designer and an editorial designer designing the printed matter again, a book designer.

In late years, among the work, I emphasize one side to transmit information by printing type and may include a thing designing which I used a letter for effectively. In this case I call it タイポグラフィックデザイナー (typography designer).
