The White Sea (worth, Russian :Белоеморе ビェーライェ モーリェ, Finnish: Vienanmeri) is a gulf of the Barents Sea located in the northwestern part of Russia. It is located in most Nanbu of the Barents Sea, and Karelia, the north are surrounded in Kola Peninsula in the west. There are many gulfs, but Gulf of メゼン which the Northern Dvina flows the south Gulf where the north Gulf where the main gulf forms Kola Peninsula of カンダラクシャ, オネガ river flow into of オネガ, and there is near the Gulf with the town of Arkhangelsk of Dvina, the east entrance of the gulf. It freezes in the winter season to be in around 65 degrees N and the district in a high latitude.
The port which is important in the southeastern bank of the White Sea includes Arkhangelsk. I was an important person, and Arkhangelsk prospered in trade with Europe (Moscow company) and North Europe as a seaport of the Russian one and only during a history of the international trade of Russia before Russia went into the Baltic Sea in the 18th century. Trade, ポモール trade () with the northern part by ポモール and others of Norway was carried out in modern times. A British fleet was dispatched to attack the Russian military by Crimean War and has been attacked. Arkhangelsk becomes an important base of the Soviet Union Navy and the base of the submarine later, and north fleet of the Russia navy seasons it with a guess even now for the White Sea.
After the completion of the White Sea, the Baltic Sea canal of August 2, 1933, the White Sea is connected to the Baltic Sea.
In addition, the Mediterranean Sea is called Akdeniz in Turkish and calls the Aegean Sea Бяломоре in Bulgarian. Each these is the name that I compared with "the Black Sea" in a meaning of "White Sea" (white the sea).
