The green mountains and rivers
A song of nation whom Japan Teachers Union (Japan Teachers Union) invited public participation for "green mountains and rivers" (of the green) as "a new national anthem" for "Kimigayo" in January, 1951 and chose.
Words of center of Chuo-ku, Tokyo Ward capital Elementary School (existing center Ward: center elementary school) teacher, Yasuko Hara were chosen from 2,000 points of application. The composition was invited public participation for, too, and a thing of Seiji Kosugi was chosen from 700 points and became a record by Columbia record. In addition, the choreography was devised as a march, too and I sang in some schools and might be danced.
I put power together with all the nations from the postwar burnt ground in a start and it was contents to build the new democracy, but was not accepted in the like public opinion which "we loved" made in the same way in those days. I still sing this song in Japan Teachers Union in the beginnings of the periodical meeting.
