A generic name of the tea that the Syrette tea (English: Sylhet tea) is made in a Syrette district (Bangladeshi East Tohoku) of Bangladesh.
The name of the tea often shows the production area name, e.g.,, in Darjeeling, ニルギリ, Assam, Indian ウバ, ヌワラエリヤ, ディンブラ are area names of Sri Lanka.
In the same way as the tea of surrounding nations, it is almost made CTC processing (Crush Tear Curl), and the remainder becomes the broken や hall leaf.
A part of the high-quality kind such as STGFOP and TGFOP is often traded at a high price. I was unfamiliar too much in Japan, but strengthen the gradually in late years presence without being sold in the open market because the exclusive state by the European maker continued as for such high quality kind.
Characteristic
Taste and the fragrance are similar to the near Assam tea of the production center. It is delicious when I will have the spiced tea which I boiled to bring out the flavor with hot water and milk.
There is little bitterness peculiar to tea, and there is unique refined sweetness as the biggest characteristic again.
Because characteristics include that there is little quantity of possession of the Tannin, it is easy to relatively drink it even if I am unfamiliar to tea. It is delicious even if I drink by a straight.
