A battleship of the Russian Empire Navy where Petropavlovsk (Russian :Петропавловск, English :Petropavlovsk) was launched in 1911. It became battleship マラート (Russian :Марат, English :Marat) of the Soviet Union Navy later.
With Petropavlovsk (Petropavlovsk, ピトロパーヴラフスク) of the name of a warship, it comes from a fight of Petropavlovsk at the time of the Crimean War at first. The vessels of the same name has "Petropavlovsk" (on November 2, 1940 from Germany to purchase, September 1, 1944) that is reincarnation of admiral ヒッパー 級重巡洋艦 "リュッツオウ", ビェールクト type cruiser "Petropavlovsk" (the large size vs. submarine) (from December 29, 1976 to May, 1994) Petropavlovsk grade battleship "Petropavlovsk" (battleship, the first generation) sunk by Russo-Japanese War.

Warship career before World War II
