ポルトゥヌス shrine (Templum Portunus, Italian: Tempio di Portuno) is a shrine given to ポルトゥヌス God with an ancient building in Rome, Italy. Because an antiquarian ever named it Fortuna we Lilith shrine (Fortuna Virilis, brave good luck) with a building of the Ionic style of architecture by mistake, I am often called by the name. It is in form ボアリウム by the テヴェレ river. Form ボアリウム was at the position that overlooked the port (Port Tiberinus) of the テヴェレ river, and ポルトゥヌス God looked around the state that the barge with the domestic animal entered from a male tear.

After seeing it from behind

This shrine is built in B.C. 75 and is restored during the first century B.C. In four-type portico and a square building consisting of inner sanctum (cella), it is built on the high estrade with stairs. Like maison boyfriend of Neame, the portico consisting of four Ionic style of architecture columns is in front of it, and there are two pillars in the depths. The column of the portico becomes independent, but five pillars of the long side and four pillars of the back side are buried in the wall of the inner sanctum. I call such a form "擬周翼式 (pseudoperipteral)" and distinguish it from the lap pillar type (peripteral) shrine that an independent column surrounds the whole neighborhood like the Parthenon. I am made of tufa and travertine and finish the surface with the makeup plaster.

This is because I am converted into a church for 872 years, and it was given to Santa Maria Egyziaca (Egyptian Maria) that the state of preservation of this shrine is good. An evaluation is high in the column of the Ionic style of architecture, and the sketching is placed in the documents of the 18th century (cf. right figure). The makeup plaster which covered up appearance of tufa and the travertine has already flaked off.

There is the Hercules ウィクトール shrine circular southeast of the ポルトゥヌス shrine in form ボアリウム.
