Sacred kitchen

With the sacred kitchen (みくり looks a chestnut) "" (God) of + "厨" (kitchen) is the place that performs 調進 of food and wine offered to the gods for will. I originally mean a building.

In addition, the territory to do 調進 means food and wine offered to the gods. A convincing Shinto shrine including Imperial Family and Ise Grand Shrine had a manor (Jinryo) in Japan in the Middle Ages and stayed as the place name and a surname later. It came to count a 五百箇余 ヵ place among each place of the whole country in the Kamakura era [¹]. In addition, in the Middle Ages, a thing such as (the territory of the samurai) where is often made plunder, 押領 by a samurai group happens. Soma sacred kitchen and the Ohba sacred kitchen of Kanto in particular are famous for violent conduct of Yoshitomo Minamotono in history.

I exist in Kiryu-shi, Gunma and Higashiosaka-shi, Osaka, Nagano-shi, Nagano. The station called "Mikuriya Station" is in Matsuura-shi, Nagasaki, too.
