The Oketo ぽっぽ picture hall (おけとぽっぽかいがかん) is an art museum in Oketo-cho, Tokoro-gun, Hokkaido. I display a donated picture mainly.

Summary

Hokkaido ちほく plateau railroad Furusato Ginga Line became the abolished line in 2006, and Oketo Station became the deserted station, too. One day the reader contribution sentence that one of the inhabitants of Oketo-cho was placed in the Yomiuri Shimbun sees "I want you to make a place of the work donation of the nameless painter" and thinks of being detonated by contact by this, and doing Oketo Station in the donation art museum [¹]. Inhabitants establish the picture building governing board and work on a painter and a picture lover of each place of the whole country and establish Oketo ぽっぽ picture building to gather the works which have slept at hand in the cathedral, and to display on the second floor of the former station building [¹]. In opening first anniversary and October, 2013 to be, a lecture that I invited Kazutoshi Kihara of the painter, reading aloud by Masayo Yamaguchi of the stage actress were performed [¹].
