Nobutsuna Sasaki (Sasaki do not hit it July 8, 1872 (June 3, 1872) -1963 age (1963) December 2) is a Japanese poet, student of Japanese literature. The original third place^[1]勲六等Doctorate in Literature。

Career

I am born as the eldest son of the poet Hiroshi Sasaki rope in Suzuka-gun, Mie stone doctor village (existing Ishiyakushicho, Suzuka-shi). I receive teaching of father and make 5 years old and write poems. I go to Tokyo (1882) in 1882. I advance to (1884), the Tokyo Imperial University department of literature classic class department in 1884. I start publication of all 12 "Japanese study of tanka poetry complete works" 册 in a co-edited book with (1890), father in 1890. I announce the song to (1896), "めざまし grass" of Ougai Mori in 1896 and launch a tanka magazine "brook". In addition, I cause new poetry meeting with Naofumi Ochiai, Tekkan Yosano and others and publish a new style book of verse "this flower".

A tanka magazine presides over a tanka association "bamboo oak meeting" [²] publishing "the essence of the heart", and Rigen Kinoshita, Jun Kawada, Samio Maekawa, Takeko Kujo, Byakuren Yanagihara, Gyofu Soma bring up many poets. Izuru Shinmura of the scholar of national language, Hiroko Katayama, Hanako Muraoka of the translator, Sennichi Hisamatsu of the student of Japanese literature learn a 31-syllable Japanese poem under a sincerity rope, too. I published many songbooks including "a cigarette". 1934 (1934) on July 31 an empire academician [³]. Is presented with the Order of Culture in (1937) in 1937; a member of Imperial Art Academy. As Imperial Poetry Bureau selector, it was an Imperial New Year Poetry Party editor. I teach a 31-syllable Japanese poem to the 貞明皇后 [⁴] and others royalty by the flow. I am concerned with the establishment of the literary society in Nara period in (1952) in 1952 and send a congratulatory address to the official journal of a scientific society "ancient literature" first issue [⁵].

I die because of (1963), acute pneumonia in 1963 [⁶]. The cemetery is near the Five Storeyed Pagoda trace of the Tokyo Yanaka Cemetery. Harutsuna Sasaki of the third son was a poet, too, but dies of illness prior to father in (1958) in 1958. Yukitsuna Sasaki of the grandchild is active in poets, too (in former editors a son of 治綱).

Achievement

I made power for a study and a supplementary explanation, reproduction of the classical literature and left achievements for the discovery of the sewing up mistake of the Sadaie Fujiwara manuscript of the Sarashina diary. Iwanami library "新訓万葉集," it is the editors such as "old and new things now sum songbooks". I made an effort for editing of "variorum Manyoshu tanka collection" which concentrated manuscripts of Manyoshu tanka collection.

Anecdote

• I originally wrote down the family name with "Sasaki", but since then checked it with "Sasaki" because a sincerity rope knew that there was not a character of "々" in China at a visit to China. ^[7]
