Molecular crystal

Molecular crystal

It is the crystal which a large number of molecules are tied to the molecular crystal (I do it plasma) by the interaction between molecules in one of the classifications of the crystal and form. Generally, it is softer than covalent crystal and a crystal ion. The molecular crystal has dry ice (carbon dioxide) and iodine.

The molecular crystals are classified more by a kind of the cohesion between molecules. A solid of ice and naphthalene is the example of the molecular crystal, and a hydrogen bonding crystal, the latter that a water molecule was tied to the former by hydrogen bonding are the van der Waals crystals which naphthalene was tied to by van der Waals forces (molecularity crystal).
