Misayama (Mt. Misa) is a mountain in the borders with Misayama, Matsumoto-shi, Nagano and Nishiuchi, Ueda-shi. 1,605m above sea level. It is the mountain of source of the Metoba River. I am located the north of Utsukushigahara, and Misayama tunnel of National highway No. 254 passes a near place right under the top of this mountain.
Misayama as the place name
A larger section of a village of Matsumoto-shi. There are some villages in the west foot of Misayama along the Metoba River, and the vulgar place names include one shallow and Motomura, Kohinata. Misayama Line goes along the bus route only in weekdays, and 2 coming and going a day and morning one ride it to one shallow, but, seeing from Matsumoto city, most of the number go only as far as larger section of a village Shinagura of this side. I run on the considerably small way from Kakeyu Line and diverging Kohinata Bridge to one shallow of the terminal.
