I gradually reduce population by the human refraining from the making of child, and a voluntary human extinction campaign (じしゅてきなじんるいぜつめつうんどう, English: Voluntary Human Extinction Movement, VHEMT) is environment exercise to aim at finally becoming extinct by oneself. I think that the group promoting this can prevent the environmental disruption by the extinction of the human.
VHEMT was established to 1991 by the reply knight who was an American environmental protection campaigner. To the knight who concluded that the human extinction was the best solution to the problem that the earth faced in the 1970s, I published the newsletter of the group and started activity as the spokesman.

Origin
The voluntary human extinction campaign was founded by the reply knight of the high school teacher who lived in Oregon Portland. After having participated in environmental exercise as a university student in the 1970s, the knight thought over-population to be the biggest menace to global environment. He joined the group (en:Zero Population Growth) aiming at population zero economic growth and performed pipe cut of oneself at the age of 25 years old. [1]
He concluded that the extinction of the human was the best method to solve an environmental problem of the earth later [2]. He believes that this idea is that much human already thought [3].
The knight began the issue of newsletter of VHEMT in 1991 [2]. I am known for a title called (These Exit Times) at the time of this leaving [4]. VHEMT which I ask a reader about his annihilating the human by a method not to make a child by a newsletter [2] publishes the comics. [5]. It is a story to raise a baby of ボノボ while a woman of the delivery marriageable age does not have a child with the work called "a baby of ボノボ" [4]. I stood, and, in 1996, the knight put up a website for VHEMT [6]. It is translated for 11 languages by 2010 [7]. The logo of VHEMT is characterized by the earth which lowered "V" and the Northern Hemisphere of the initial of voluntary (voluntary) [8]; [explanatory note 1].
