Achievement

  • I paid my attention to the sign language that a student of the deafness and dumbness used routinely in the times when he was the teacher of the private elementary school of the Edo period in 1875 and considered the sign language for the professor as the language to have a systematic function. In doing so, it is a model of the Japan sign language established as sign language as standard equipment "the hand group (way) method" to take an expression method such as the devised finger language now [1]; [2] [3] [4].
  • He speaks it by the note which looked back on education for the deaf and dumb as follows and talks about importance of the education.
"
The deaf-mute should act freely and must not prevent you from acting again. And a deaf-mute does not call that education is not received "an unhappy event" and rather is the responsibility of the person whom I do not educate. It is said that it is a deaf-mute, and I do not need to be looked down by another person and am not the person, to be shy if I do education properly.
