D-dopa chrome decarboxylase (D-dopachrome decarboxylase, EC 4.1.1.84) is an enzyme catalyzing the following chemical reactions.

D-dopa chrome 5,6-dihydroxy indole + CO2

Therefore, as for the substrate of this enzyme, only as for the D-dopa chrome, the product is two of 5,6-dihydroxy indole and carbon dioxide.

These enzymes are classified in carboxy lyase cutting lyase particularly carbon-carbon bonding. The systematic name D-dopa chrome carboxy lyase (the 5,6-dihydroxy indole formation) (D-dopachrome carboxy-lyase (5,6-dihydroxyindole-forming)) である. I am called phenylpyruvate tautomerase II, D-tautomerase, D-dopachrome tautomerase, D-dopachrome carboxy-lyase elsewhere.
