I can put a case, the data without the special mention for normal temperature (25 degrees Celsius), the ordinary pressure (100 kPa).

Cobalt oxide (II)(Cobalt(II) oxide) is black powder from a red crystal or gray from yellowish green [1]. I am used for composition of the cobalt (II) salt to a glaze of the blue and enamel by the ceramics industry in Chemical Industrial. The crystal of CoO is periclase (halite) structure, and the grating constant is 4.2615Å [2].

I disintegrate to cobalt oxide (II) and oxygen when I heat cobalt oxide (II,III) to 950 degrees Celsius [3].

2 Co3O4 → 6 CoO + O2

Coloring agent

Cobalt oxide (II) was used as a coloring agent of ceramics for several centuries and it was old and was used in Germany of the twelfth century [4]. The ceramics which cobalt oxide (II) was added in are colored 深青色 called the cobalt blue.
