Kind of the warship of Korea water forces told to have existed with the carapace of a turtle ship (a Korean reading to come, and not to do it this way not to compete for coloss, 거북선) for Li-regimed Korea Era. The popular name of "the carapace of a turtle ship" is used generally in Japan, but is originally the ship called "a tortoise ship".

Record of the history book
A carapace of a turtle ship is the warship which the existence is written down to plural history books, but because the description of the history book is vague, there not being the existing hull, the details are not clear and are the warship that the existence is doubted [the source required].
