History
The word this ガロッシュ comes from the shoes (Gaulish shoe, gallicae) of the person from Gaul. I had the sole where an upper leather and the sculpture of the tree were given to these shoes and when a Roman conquered Gaul, gained the favor and came to wear shoes using a sculpture and the red leather which nobles devoted themselves to.
It is words to hint at "shoes to wear with wearing shoes" not to stain the room like slippers in Turkey. The spelling called "Golosh" used in Great Britain is the word that changed in about 1920 [1]; [2] [3].
