Machiko Ogimachi

Machiko Ogimachi / Machiko Tanaka (おおぎまちまちこ / shelf or Machiko, Enpo era three years (1675)?on - Kyoho March 11, 9 on (April 4, 1724)) is a concubine, a poet, a literary person of chief minister of the Edo Shogunate, Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa. The first name a valve child [1].

There is the opinion that it is assumed that it is full of 権大納言, Ogicho fruits with a daughter between Tanaka of the concubine about the blood relationship and is done with a half-sister of Kinmichi Ogimachi. On the other hand, I assume Kinmichi Ogimachi father, and there are the cross of the daughter of 公通 and the Mr. Minase sincerity and the opinion to do [2]. I withdraw to Edo at 16 years old and become the concubine of Yasuaki Yanagisawa (Yoshiho) who is an aide to general Tsunayoshi Tokugawa. Because family status is too high for the concubine of the big name, it is said that I gave Tanaka who is the family name of the mother's side. There is the second son of Tsunetaka Yanagisawa, Tokiyoshi Yanagisawa between Yoshiho [3].

公通 often proceeds to Edo as a messenger of the Emperor Reigen when he takes the opinion which makes father of Machiko Kinmichi Ogimachi, and he receives the correction of the 31-syllable Japanese poem, and Rikugi-en Garden 12 boundary is established, and Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa is granted a title of 参禅録 to by the Emperor Reigen, and the Emperor Reigen has an influence on Yoshiho in literary arts side [4]. In addition, the daughter of the Mr. Minase sincerity that in this case becomes mother of Machiko gives "Joban well" as a lady's maid of new Uenishi Empress Dowager Fusako (Takatsukasa Fusako); for bottoms as wife of a highest-ranking nobleman of general Tsunakichi to Edo 浄光院殿信子 (Takatsukasa Nobuko) equal to the aunt of Fusako; when do it, the Joban well changes its name to "右衛門佐局", and proceed to Edo according to Nobuko, and Edo article inner palace acts as a director all-out [5]. Therefore, as for Machiko, it is thought that I take the opinion which assumes Kinmichi Ogimachi father of Machiko even if it was a concubine of Yoshiho backed by the relationship of such parents [6].

Machiko is known as a literary person with court noble-like culture and writes down diaries "Matsukage diary" (person of pine mind) which I wrote down the half life of the Yoshiho lifetime after the fashion of "The Tale of Genji" of the Court of Heian Period [7]. I was known as a secret book from the Edo era. I attract attention as dregs of the Imperial Court culture in the Edo era. I point to wisteria that "the person of pine mind" (image of a pine reflected in the water) climbs all over a pine and a pine and makes bloom, and it is thought that there is the intention that Emperor or general, Yoshiho compare a series of people to pine and wisteria and prayed for prosperity [8].

There is the Iwanami pocket edition of the Hiroshi Ueno three note published to the book printed by engraved wood of "the Matsukage diary" in Chishin Furuya edition "Edo era womens' literature complete works" book and 2004 of the publication in 1979.
