The Japanese society where the nonprofit foundation Chemical Society of Japan (にほんかがくかい British: The Chemical Society of Japan, abbreviated to CSJ) assumes a working researcher, man of business, student in conjunction with the chemistry a main member. Activity

A current membership is approximately 40,000. I hold an annual convention (approximately 9,000-10,000 participation number of people, lecture approximately 6,000) to be carried out in the end of March every year. In addition, by many sectional meetings, branch offices, meetings for the study of the substructure, I hold various panel discussions, presentations through the year. I host international society Pacific rim international chemical meeting (PACIFICHEM) to be performed in Hawaii every five years in cooperation with the society of other countries.

In addition, as well as a normal receiving a prize system, there are a fellow system, the virtual commendation systems such as the press releases of the highlight lecture (15-23 lectures) in the annual convention, too.

I publish English sentence magazine Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan and English breaking news magazine Chemistry Letters as a treatise magazine by "chemistry and industry" and "chemistry and education" as a bulletin.
