Tower of the stone

The tower (Ishino father) of the stone is a boundary of Owani-machi, Minamitsugaru-gun, Aomori and Odate-shi, Akita, a huge stone of approximately 24m in height neighborhood 70m in near the mountain pass (450m above sea level) called Natsugoe.

Summary
The rock-like character was tufa of the Neogene Miocene and stayed without being eroded. There is Kusushi Shrine under the rock mass. I slant toward the Aomori side, and a small shrine is at the root of the stone which seems to fall down at any moment.
"I look at the tower of the stone, and I am shown with ねうぢ, でっけごど, しゃべらいねぞ" (I cannot say a big thing when I do not look at the tower of the stone) in local Owani-machi and Odate-shi (former Tashiro-cho) by the enormousness.
History
In the Edo era, it was believed as God who fell from the sky. As well as a hometown, the record that a Buddhist ascetic came for worship from the whole country is left. It was said that the eye disease had Kusushi Shrine whether a miracle was new and was turnout as I counted on a person of prayer on the occasion of a festival of April 8, and boiled and seasoned fish or vegetable was sold [1].
After the Tsugaru Hyogo sincerity chapter which was a half-brother of Hirosaki feudal lord Nobumasa Tsugaru visited the large crocodile for a hot spring cure (Genroku era two years) on July 1 in 1689, I took 53 whole families under the pretense of the tower prayer of the stone and ran away from Natsugoe to the Kubota feudal clan territory (Tsugaru Hyogo sincerity chapter border violation case). Because the Akita side consists of the towers of the stone in a steep grade, it is thought that Tsugaru Hyogo really detoured around the tower of the stone.

Event
I move a meeting place after getting "a large braggart driver's license" to see local おこしとして of Owani-machi, the tower of this stone, and big "all countries braggart meeting" to talk tall is opened. I compete how this has a large striped mullet in five minutes of the time limit, and am opened every year in June [2]. A meeting cooperates with a meeting on the Akita side on Koshiyama 10th of the local residents' association, and a bus tour is made for the public [3].

- From the Aomori side
- Sail up the Nijikai River of Owani-machi; is a 45-minute walk from the starting point of a mountain climb in a starting point of a mountain climb from the Owanionsen volost in 40 minutes.
