The bulldog near department (a scientific name: Bruniaceae) is a plant of the shrubs growing wild in the area of the cape of the Republic of South Africa. It has been limited, but few kinds grow it mainly in the State of クワズール Natal in the cape state (existing west cape state, east cape state, north cape state a northwest state) [3].

In APG II, I was placed to the perilla eyes [4], but it is said that the bulldog near department is sisters group with コルメリア department [5] and, in a study of 2008, suggests that I locate both courses to the bulldog near eyes on the angiosperm system website (English version) [3].
