Summary
The United States and the representative of the Japanese piano tuner group played a key role in Minneapolis City, the United States in July, 1979, and a meeting was held and started as an international organization [1]. I hold a general meeting in all parts of the world every two years and promote exchange of the technical information through discussion, a symposium and deepen the friendship and continue activity for the purpose of the improvement of the music culture [2]. In addition, in 1993, April 4 was established with "a day of the piano tuning" by the association [3].
Member
The group of piano tuner, production engineers of all the countries of the world joins it, and the member under the group becomes a member of IAPBT. In addition, there is the participation as the individual member in the country without a group. When the individual member includes it, a member nation as of 2012 is 31 countries. World meeting
