L toe Lulu (Fırkateyni Ertuğrul) is a wooden frigate of the Ottoman Empire navy. There is not the warship of the same type. The name of a warship is associated with Elle toe Lulu who is father of the Ottoman first.

Summary

The book grade is the warship which the Ottoman Empire navy performed domestic production of for the coastal defense of the own country. Building was approved by Minister of the Navy アブデュルアズィズ and was constructed at the Istanbul shipyard of the own country. On the way home that visited Japan in 1890, I ran aground off Kushimoto-cho, Wakayama and sank (L toe Lulu accident case).

Warship form and armed

The bridge deck which had Funabashi between first .2 turn masts of the hull central part with the armor frigate which had three masts for the sailing toward the platform type hull stood, and the fabric of this warship located the main armament in the right and left equality to the casemate (case mate) part in the hull.

It was made a cruise in London in 1864, and it was equipped with a steam engine and remodeled it into the steamship, and renovation of the armament was performed with the repair of the timeworn hull until 1865.
