A flint township (British: Flint Charter Township) is a township of the southeast ジェネシー county of the United States of America Michigan ロウアー peninsula. I adopt a form of chartered tp. where some autonomy was given to. There is the flint city in the east side of Flynn and the township, too, but the management becomes independent each other. The township population in the national census was 31,929 people for 2,010 years.

History
Wayne county was established in the northwestern part territory where ロウアー peninsula was in. In 1819, it was signed a heron no valley treaty between a チッペワ group Indian. In 1836, a ペワニゴ group of the heron no Indian signed a treaty with the United States of America and, in exchange for 13 places of land in the west of the Mississippi, transferred all the land which remained in ジェネシー county and the place where it was later. It was decided that the land was sold for the profit of the Indian [4].
On March 9, 1833, grand blank tp. was organized. Many townships that entered the later ジェネシー county including the flint township that was a surveying township were included in the range at the time [5]. The first lasting pioneer was エリジャ Carman and the family who arrived in 1835 in こおの area [6]. Flint tp. was organized on March 2, 1836, and current Burton city, Clayton township, flushing township, Tomori Maung's township, ジェネシー township, set Ford township, biEna township, Montrose township entered in that [5]. Jesse Tolley that was the second pioneer and the family moved to the section 24th and began Tolley reclaimed land in 1836. In the same year, William N studio nerd established studio nerd reclaimed land in the section 35th [6].

In 1837, Vienna tp. was organized, and later Montrose and each tp. of set Ford were included [5]. In 1837, James W クロンク settled in the section seventh and the eighth, and oneself named it there [6].
On March 6, 1838, ジェネシー and each tp. of the flushing were separated [5]. The first school school building was built in the section 23rd of the flint township, the bank of the スワーツ creek in 1838 [6]. An education school district of 10 was established in this township, and some of those merged afterwards. Carman エインズワース education school district has jurisdiction over current flint tp. mainly.
On April 19, 1839, Carsley tp. separated from the flint township [5], but was returned to the cause on March 7, 1843 [7]. On March 25, 1846, Clayton tp. separated. On October 12, 1855, Burton tp. separated [5], and a current flint city was made a corporation, and the area left the flint township. From October 12, 1855 when Burton separated, want to be called Garland tp. temporarily afterwards until February 5, 1856 [7]; [8].
In 1953, ウェストヘイブン city and a corporation began a discussion of becoming it in the flint township, but the plan was rejected afterwards [9]. In 1959, スワーツクリーク was made a corporation, and Otterburn area was isolated [10]. After a flint city annexed Vance like factory of GM, I made tp. a corporation, and a grand view apartment house city and a plan to do were referred to a referendum. Another item of the referendum was the election of the new mayor. The suggestion of becoming it was rejected a corporation, and Tom マンサー of the township controller was elected the mayor at the time of one [11]. In August, 1970, ジェネシー valley center opened facing mirror road and Linden road [12].
Geography
All areas of the township are all てち land which are 23.6 square mile (61 km2) if they depend on the United States of America Bureau of the Census. Flint tp. almost does the form of the "L" character close to the southwestern side of the flint city and is done to the north and south in an interchange of expressway Route 69 between states and Route 75 for two minutes, and there is a township to the south on bishop Airport and a man day.

Political
In the American United States Congress Lower House, I belong to the Michigan fifth electoral district. I belong to the 49th electoral district in the Michigan state legislature Lower House.
Traffic
Bishop International Airport is next to the flint township, and a part is in the domain. A bus flight of the Japan Travel Bureau is operated in large quantities in the township. Furthermore, expressway Route 75 between states, Route 69 and three main line ways of American National highway No. 23 go and intersect at a position of 1 mile (1.6km) from bishop International Airport. 3 lines of ground trunk western railroad, CSX transportation, the Michigan central railroad go, and the railroad intersects on the north side border of the township.
