クロバナロウゲ (black flower wolf tusk, Comarum palustre) is perennial plant belonging to the rose family クロバナロウゲ genus. I was classified in Potentilla fragarioides genus クロバナロウゲ subgenus with the クロンキスト systems, but was included in the independent クロバナロウゲ genus with the APG plant classification system.

Summary

It grows in damp ground and the moor of the subalpine zone from Hokkaido, the Honshu Chubu District and to the north, but is seen in the low land in Hokkaido. Ascending 伏毛 grows thick to the stem. The retainer crawls on the ground and branches it and becomes 30-100cm in height.

The leaf grows each other; an odd pinnate compound leaf. There are 1-3 pairs of small leaves; a narrow long oval of 4-7cm in length. In addition, the leaf has saw teeth, and the back of a leaf has silk hair like white. There is a stipule in the base of the leaf.

The flowering season is from July to August. I give a pattern from an axil and make a sparse cyme. As for the flower, a diameter is 1.5-2.5cm in 暗紫褐色. The petal is a lancet arch of 暗紫褐色 smaller than sepal. Sepal is five, and a point is sharp in getting out open, ovoid horizontally, and, in 暗紫褐色, the outside is green, and the inside is tinged with brown a little. The vice-sepal is green in five briefly thinner than sepal with the both sides. There are a lot of stamens. A receptacle bulges after a flower.
