Al empty デ エナーレス [³] (Alcaláde Henares) is a city of Spain. Because an accent leaves Henares in the second syllable, it is pronounced like Al empty デ エナーレス. In addition, the Al empty デ Enaless notation is seen. It is located in the eastern part of State of central Madrid, Spain. The population is approximately 200,000 people. "Al is empty" comes from the word "castle" of Arabic. I add "デ エナーレス" to distinguish it from a city (Al empty デ グアダイラ and Al empty la real) of the same name in Andalucia.

In a university city since the end of 15th century, it is enrolled in a world heritage. In addition, I am known as a birthplace of Miguel デ Cervantes.

Geographical features, industrial

I am located of エナーレス riverside, Madrid on the road toward グアダラハーラ. Hides, soap industry are prosperous. Cities of the neighborhoods include Madrid of approximately 30 kilos west, Getafe of the 35 kilos southwest.

History

It was called "コンプルトゥム" in ancient Roman age. A bishop seat was put for the west goat kingdom era. It was not a too important town under the Islam rule, but a fort (Al-Qal'at) was built in the twelfth century, and this became the name of the current town. I was conquered in 1118 by the Castilia kingdom, and an archbishop of Toledo was given it. Around the hall of the archbishop, a Christian street, a ghetto, an Arab town were formed. A Jew was expelled in 1496 by a King law, but the structure of the town came to be used as the remainder, a university city. The portent as the university city begins in fact when the サンチョ fourth established "ストゥディウム ゲネラーレ" (Studium Generale) in 1298.

The construction of the university city began, and sun イルデフォンソ school was founded in 1499 in the early 16th century from the end of 15th century by the suggestion of the シスネーロス cardinal. Unlike other university cities in Europe, the feature is that the whole town was planned as a university city from a beginning in Al empty デ エナーレス. University facilities were expanded and accomplished development afterwards as a center of the arts and sciences, the culture. The scholar of well-known humanism such as Erasmus is invited to this town, too. A print technology was brought in, and the multilingual side-by-side translation Bible (Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Aramaic, cf. en) for Al empty デ エナーレス was published.

When the Al empty university declined slowly, and a holding liberation law was given in permanence for 1,836 years by prime minister men disa Baru, the university moved to Madrid (current Madrid コンプルテンセ University). Usage, indication

In 1998, University and Historic Precinct of Alcala de Henares was registered with a world heritage (cultural heritage) of the UNESCO. It was evaluated that a thing, the city planning which were the world's first premeditated university city became the model in the American continent and Europe. In addition, it was said that it contributed to intellectual development of the human to have laid thing, Cervantes whom linguistic development including the multilingual side-by-side translation Bible was seen in in this ground as (6) of the registration standard.

Considered that this world heritage met the following standards in the world heritage registration standard, and registration was accomplished (the following standards are translation, quotation from a registration standard of the world heritage center publication).

It is the history inheritance of Spain, and the area enrolled in a world heritage is protected by the local government of Madrid state government and the city.

Traffic

It is approximately 35 minutes by a suburban route (C-1, C-2, C-7) from Madrid. A train runs every 5-10 minutes.
