Yatani mine

Yatani mine

Yatani mine (やたにこうざん) is the mine which produced [2], money, silver, copper, lead, zinc which there was in Iritazawa, Yonezawa-shi, Yamagata [1] mainly. It becomes the disused mine and stops digging and processes drainage to prevent environmental disruption caused by mining with the well water flowing from the gallery. The water after the processing is drained into small Tarukawa (こたるがわ) and ogre Mengawa [3] (おものがわ).
