And was made first generation Simon viscount (Viscount Simon, of Stackpole Elidor in the County of Pembroke) of the stack pole Eli da in the State of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland noble title Pembroke to take office for Lord Chancellor (Chairperson of House of Peers) (holding the post from 1940 to 1945) of the Churchill Cabinet on May 20, 1940, and attended a member of the House of Lords [²]; [³].

John Simon (1902-1993) who was the only son posthumously of the first viscount succeeded to a 2s viscount. (1940-) succeeded to 3s viscounty posthumously only son David Simon (English version) of the 2s viscount. The present head of a household as of 2016 is him, but he does not have a child currently, and the state that there is not the person who can succeed to a title continues [²].
