I was born in New South Wales colony Newcastle, Australia, and the slum emigrated to Honolulu at the age of 11 years old on May 16, 1853 [1]. The slum that did it soon, and had begun to act succeeded to business of Black & Auld which was the stationery dealer and the newspaper publisher after the employee of the store and the sailor of the whaler, the work of the sugarcane farm in 1870 [1]. From 1875, I launched monthly "Paradise of the Pacific" (forerunner of later "Honolulu (Honolulu)") with J J Williams (J. J. Williams) including publication of yearbook "Thrum's Hawaiian Annual" about Hawaii in 1888 [1]. In addition, about tradition and a history of Hawaiian each place, I reported and left a large number of books [1].
I married Anna roller Brown (Anna Laura Brown) in San Francisco on January 11, 1865 [1], and the slum gained 4 children afterwards [2].
It was excellent and worked on writing until I was over 80 years old in later years, and the slum was in the vice-presidency of the Hawaiian News & Thrums, Ltd. which treated stationery [1], but sank in Honolulu in 1932 when I had 90 years old close at hand [2].
