The generic name of a series of figure skating tournaments in the youth class where the 2013/2014 ISU Junior Grand Prix series (English: 2013/2014 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating) was held in eight countries of the world in 2013.

Summary

The ISU Junior Grand Prix of the 2013-2014 season. Unlike the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating of the senior class, the site changes every year. I am comprised of Latvia, Mexico, Slovakia, Poland, Belarus, Czech, 7 meetings of Estonia and the final, the ISU Junior Grand Prix finals held in Japan this season.

The player whom a figure skating unification group chose of each country participates and performs a man and woman single, a pair, an ice dancing competition. But it is only 5 meetings during 7 meetings that a pair is performed. The holding of the pair became 5 meetings for the first time in our season.

The pair is performed in 5 meetings except the Mexican cup and バルティック cup among 7 meetings. In addition, the finals are held with the grand prix finals of the senior at the same time.

Participation qualification

A participation frame is given for an area each country, and a local unification group decides the starter each country. I can participate in each meeting except the finals until 2 meetings for one player (group).

In addition, the player (group) participating in the grand prix series cannot participate in this Junior Grand Prix. An additional post was recognized about the pair until the last year, but cannot participate in the grand prix series of the senior including a pair in this year.

Series participation frame

It was assigned to each country, area based on the result of the World Junior Figure Skating Championships as follows in 2013. Regardless of follows, the host country for meeting can let three players of the own country participate to (group).

Finals participation qualification

A player is given a score depending on the order of 7 meetings (as for the pair 4 meetings) from JGP Volvo cup to JGP thalline cup, and total score high rank six players (group) obtain the participation qualification of the Junior Grand Prix finals.

When plural players (group) line up by a tie score, a high player (group) of total score gets a participation qualification when the best order is the same a player (group) having high best order. When a decliner appears in high-ranking six players (group), a player (group) with less than it of acquisition point seventh place moves up.
