A prize of the music that public interest Suntory art foundation Foundation hosts the Suntory music prize (さんとりーおんがくしょう).
I honor the individual whom there was of the achievement or a group most and, from 1969 when Torii music foundation Foundation was established, am presented to development of the Japanese Western music culture for the purpose of promotion of the Western music every year in Japan in last year. I shifted to the public interest Suntory art foundation Foundation Suntory music foundation from September, 2009 from October, 1978. The former name "Torii music prize." The prize money is 7 million yen.
