Summary
At a station located in the Myoko-shi Myoko district (former Myoukomura), it was a switchback type (1985) until autumn for 1,985 years [1].
It was an East Japan Railway Co. History

Station structure

JR East Niigata branch office managed it before transfer, and, at duties trust station that Naoetsu Station summarized it and managed, JR Niigata business was given station duties in trust. The Mars terminal of the green window was installed in the booking clerk window, but finished use on the occasion of transfer.
In addition, among 7 stations where a green window was installed in before transfer in Echigo Tokimeki Railway Company Line, I located a system of "business えきねっと" of JR East at our station and 5 Station except Naoetsu Station that followed it, and applied Mars terminal, and service to release the tickets of JR lines of the whole country was continued [note 1], but our station became out of a placement object.

The route bus of the Myoko municipal bus is operated from the Sekiyama Station stop of the station square [5]. In addition, the community bus (membership system bus) by the non profit organization is operated as well as follows [6].
