SD-Jukebox (S D jukebox) is the Media Player software which Panasonic (before September 30, 2008 Matsushita Electric Industrial) sells.

Summary

It is software to transfer it to a digital audio player, the cell-phone corresponding to the SD-Audio standard. I appeared as attached software of the SD audio player of Panasonic in 2000.

It was distributed free from 2001 through 2002 as MOOCS PLAYER until ED-Jukebox, 2005 through 2008, but it is basically charged a fee, and it purchases a sold thing, or it is the point that is greatly different from the other brands that is not available if I do not purchase the product which this software is attached to.

Because you use a copyright protection function based on SD-Audio standard, you must use a copyright product for protection (secure) for the note to the SD card of music data, the reproduction from an SD card. Because the SD card slot with a built-in SD card leader and PC of the USB connection does not often support copyright protection (secure), attention in particular is necessary. Many cases do not have any problem when they connect an SD audio system-adaptive cell-phone, SD audio player to a PC by USB.

This software is not available to use a copyright protection function if there is not the authority of the manager of the PC. Because a user account control function acts by the OS after Windows Vista in particular, it requires attention.

    • This becomes the last version corresponding to the OS of Windows 9x origin.
  • On November 1, 2004, gratuitous update to 4.1 that supported is shown to SD-Voice.

  • Gratuitous update to Ver5.3 is released on April 9, 2007.

Difference in edition

There is Light Edition of the crippleware bundled by Standard Edition and D-Snap which are a commercial package and an SD-Audio-adaptive terminal.

ED-Jukebox

It is music management, reproduction software to use by a music distribution service in Arcstar MUSIC. It is a crippleware of SD-Jukebox. I was distributed gratis by a service user.

MOOCS PLAYER

It is music downloading, reproduction software to use by a music distribution service by MOOCS. I was distributed gratis by a service user. SD-Jukebox Light Edition becomes the base and may be transcribed into SD-Jukebox MOOCS Edition.

  • The main function that is limited in MOOCS PLAYER
    • When I record it from a CD, MP3 form and AAC+SBR form cannot select
    • Music ID function is not available (version after six)
    • A skin function is not available
    • A brief mode is not available
    • Music data import of MPEG4-AAC (the file which I made by iTunes) is not possible
    • Help file becomes the HTML file not a PDF file

In MOOCS PLAYER, an offer began with a service start of October, 2005, but, with the service end of MOOCS of February 29, 2008, finished downloading service on November 30, 2007. The reinstallation is not possible after service even if I stored the installer file which I downloaded in those days. (because I perform module downloading from the Internet at the time of the first start, but cannot download it). The backup with the exclusive backup tool and the re-store became impossible, too.

Correspondence format

There is the difference by a version and an edition, but lists it about version 6 Standard Edition here.

  • I manage the file of the AAC(MPEG2-AAC),AAC(SBR),MP3,WMA,M4A(MPEG4-AAC) form, and this software can reproduce.
  • When I record it by this software from music CD and WAV file, I can be busy in a form of AAC(MPEG2-AAC),AAC(SBR),MP3,WMA.
  • I can import the file of the MP3,WMA,M4A(MPEG4-AAC) form that I encoded by other software. But it is non-a file protected in DRM-compliant.
  • When I output it, an SD card can output it in AAC(MPEG2-AAC),AAC(SBR),MP3,WMA form.
    • Even if it is the form that this software supports, all SD-Audio-adaptive players cannot reproduce it. It is necessary to output it in the form that a player to use supports.

SD-MobileImpact

It is software that to manage the file of the SD-Video standard, and SD-MobileImpact (S D mobile impact) reproduces and transfers. It is used for the purpose of management and the reproduction of the movie file of the one segment that recorded it in SD memory card with a cell-phone mainly. I appeared as attached software of docomo P903iTV in 2007.

In addition, I incorporate the function of the SD-JukeboxV6 equivalency, and management, the transfer of SD-Audio is possible, too. (except SD-MobileImpact for NEC Ver.1.3)

I was not marketed as a package, and I was bundled by a part of the PC made in supported product and NEC. It was only a very limited product only as for the PC made in NEC of the release for cell-phone and 2007 through 2008 of the release for 2,007 years that was bundled. Therefore acquisition was extremely difficult even if this software wanted to use it with the product which was not bundled.

In March, 2014, I finished all support.

There is not the editing (the file division, title input) function of the animation.

In version 1.5, CM tobashi reproduction, the editing feature of the marker function were equipped with.
