The Okayama City Jodo public hall (おかやましりつじょうとうこうみんかん) is a municipal public hall in Takewara, Higashi-ku, Okayama-shi, Okayama. In Okayama-shi, one public hall is installed in the junior high school precinct, and the Jodo public hall is one of the district public halls where there is 36 it in Okayama-shi. [1]

Action for ESD promotion

The social education director of the Jodo public hall introduces the situation such as social education facilities for CLC (community learning center) and elderly people in Thailand as a lecturer of the ESD cafe, too [7].
IT class in the public hall
Okayama-shi promotes the making of electronic local government and starts the free IT class for the citizen in June, 2002. A civic information volunteer is trained in the public hall of the various places throughout the city and instructs it [8]. In the Jodo public hall, a PC support room (as for the PC anything a counselor's office) by IT volunteer "PC Jodo" is held [9].
