The village where the Oe mountain village (I cover a mountain irregularity) was ever in Nakakanbara-gun, Niigata. I become extinct by an admission merger to Niigata-shi of May 3, 1957, and it is Konan-ku, Niigata-shi, a part of the northern part now in Kita-ku Higashi-ku, the enclave of the Agano River right bank side most of the old village level.
The following descriptions are descriptions about the former Oe mountain village at the time just before a merger, and names may be different now. In addition, I refer to articles of Niigata-shi about the contents which are not described here.

Summary
When it merged in 1901, I took the head of 4 villages of "vast deep water" "Eguchi" "authority of mountain" "Yamaoka" and said with "Mount Oe". It was admitted into Niigata-shi in 1957 and became the jurisdiction bottom of the Ishiyama district after a merger. On April 1, 2007, the Mount Oe district became the area of Konan-ku with the ordinance-designated city shift of the city.

The name of a village, Nitta name before municipality organization is enforced in 1889 remains as the place name now (but "Nitta" is omitted).
In addition, Maruyama ノ 内善之丞組 (まるやまのうちぜんのじょうぐみ) in the central part of the authority of mountain was the place name which had a long it most in the former city limits before 13 cities, towns and villages admission mergers (March 21, 2005).
