A lock bridge county (British: Rockbridge County) is a county located in the central part of United States of America Virginia. It was 22,307 people, and the population in the 2010 national census rose 7.2% from 20,808 people of 2000 [1]. County seat is the Lexington city which is an independent city (a population of 7,042 people [2]), but, with another independent city Buena Vista (a population of 6,650 people [3]), is not included in the population of the county. But the domain of the county contains both cities.

History
The lock bridge county put parts of Augusta county and the ボトトート county that were adjacent in October, 1777 together and was established. The first election was held in May, 1778. The county name was adopted by the natural bridge which became the well-known mark in the southern part of county. It was a state legislature that a county was established and reduced distance to move to the nearest county Government building and found you so that a trial was performed justly, and it was intended to form a county among friends than a foreigner. The county's first administrative committee was held in a house of Samuel Wallace on April 7, 1778.
Cyrus McCormick invented the reaping machine of cereals in the north end of the county, bar neighborhood of stealing it.
Geography
If depend on the United States of America Bureau of the Census, the county area entire surface product is 601 square mile (1,557 km2);, of these, in the land 600 square mile (1,553 km2), the area of the sea, area of the sea rate is 0.22% at 1 square mile (4 km2) [4]. I do not include the Buena Vista city of the independent city and the area of Lexington City in the land area mentioned above.

The Buena Vista Buena Vista city of the independent city and the Lexington city which is county seat are not in the lock bridge county in political division. Lexington City and the lock bridge county share three people of the sheriff who is a government official prescribed by a constitution, a circuit court administrative official and the state prosecutor. The Buena Vista city does not have the joint ownership of the government official who is prescribed with Lexington City with the lock bridge county by a constitution.
