Entry of route

The Shinkansen and each old line line of JR East run in it and become the node of the route toward the north, south, east and west.

The track name top is only the Tohoku Shinkansen, but, as for the Shinkansen, the train of the Yamagata Shinkansen which is mini Shinkansen communicating Ou Main Line directly from Fukushima Station stops at the Shinkansen platform other than a train of the Shinkansen.

3 routes of Tohoku Main Line, Banetsu West Line, Banetsu East Line ride the old line onto the track name top. Of these, I assume Tohoku Main Line the position line of this station, and, as for Banetsu West Line, as for starting point, Banetsu East Line, this station is a terminal again this station. In addition, I start from Mito Station, and a terminal and the train of Suigun Line doing it ride Asaka-Nagamori Station in the south side of this Tohoku Main Line station to this station, and the train of 5 areas arrives and departs at this station when I put it together with each line of the said article.

Station structure

As for the Shinkansen, the old line becomes the station above the ground an elevated station.

As the management station which is a direct management station (stationmaster, the management deputy mayor, deputy mayor placement), I manage each station between between Kagamiishi Station - Motomiya Station of Tohoku Main Line and Kikuta Station - Nakayama-Juku Station of Banetsu West Line.

Old line

The old line uses the home of the first-floor island expression home two 4 line and simple system home one 1 line of the yard east side, notch type home one 1 line, four 6 lines in total. Each home can come and go in a bridge connected in underpass leading to the first-floor old line center mouth and the second-floor Shinkansen transfer, north exit wicket. But, in the underpass, only in the stairs, a top and bottom escalator and the elevator are installed in the bridge, too.

It was constitution called wicket -1 numbered wire - island expression home (1.2 turn) -2 numbered wire, but I was repaired by the center wicket after doing the first line track after removal for a while to move to Platform 2 home (current Platform 1) directly, and it was before in a simple system home. It became the water county platform with 2-6 numbered wire, but, as for the numbered wire indication, it was Platform 1 -6 numbered wire in time schedule revision of the spring of 2007 after old first line removal for a while.

The departure and arrival numbered wire is almost fixed except Tohoku Main Line, but a green line collar is in 駅名標 and 番線標 of all the old line homes () that there is no route name except (Platform 3 home (Suigun Line)). But departure LED with the line collar of the different color is installed in the north exit (S pal) wicket with an old line transfer mouth according to a route (there is no line color in the LED of the first-floor old line center mouth).

There is a stand in the Platform 1 (a waiting room and juxtaposition). A restroom, a smoking area, the waiting room is installed in all homes. An emergency train stop button was installed in each home in March, 2008.

Shinkansen

The Shinkansen uses the home of the third-floor island expression home one 2 line and simple system home one 1 line of the yard west, two 3 lines in total. Passage line 2 line is drawn between both homes. An LED-type ride position guidance indicator is installed in downhill Platform 12, the upbound Platform 13 (only as for the step indication in the Platform 11 same as before).

Platform

  • As a general rule, the Tohoku Main Line descent should be Platform 4, the up and uses 2.5 numbered wire. An arrival train (some lapels) uses the Platform 2 basically.

  • The Shinkansen

The freight handling, dedicated line

The station of the JR freight becomes the handling station of the dedicated line departure and arrival car handling freight.

A dedicated line continuing from the outside of the passenger home Platform 6 to the Japan Oil Talminar Kooriyama Office in the place that travels side by side with Banetsu East Line, and went north approximately 1.5km exists. Japan Oil Transportation holds this route and is used in oil shipments for Japan Oil Talminar. It is dismantling removal with the Toho Bank Koriyama station square branch [7] that the Koriyama station square complex where Marui entered after withdrawal becomes vacant, and a building state continued, but to be next to. Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. builds compound commercial building (the first-floor ~3 floor commercial facilities, the fourth-floor ~13 floor Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kooriyama) of 13 stories above the ground [8] in the ruins.
