Konan Interchange (what interchange to ask for) is an interchange of the new Meishin Expressway in Kounanchoshinji, Kouka-shi, Shiga.

Summary
Shiga that received a request of the construction in Konanchou, Koka-gun at the time applied to Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for construction in 2003, and it was fixed at 2004 of the next year that I was authorized and was built as regional activation IC, and it was in Kansai's first regional activation IC which Shiga and NEXCO West Japan built. Konan PA to provide along

I hang the up line of the main line on the Konan IC/PA outflow lamp from the Konan tunnel this side to inform this beforehand, and I hang it on the Konan IC/PA outflow lamp, and, in the down line, a directional marker to tell about structure of Konan IC/PA is installed in several places by 竜法師跨道橋手前, and the yellow directional marker "which it is not appeared after use of PA to the Konan interchange" is installed in the directional marker mentioned above and the exit directional marker to Konan IC/PA continually. In addition, a directional marker that Shiga prefectural road 343 Konan interchange line and inflow lamps from our IC to the main line "cannot use the Konan PA from the Konan interchange" and "are not available in the Konan PA from here" is installed in several places.
Construction with such a structure that I cannot use mutually is considered as safety measures, and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Shiga Police were adopted at the time of a construction plan, but request the improvement construction that Koka-shi does in the structure that can flow out into the IC after use of PA from aspects of the convenience after a service start to relations engines of NEXCO West Japan or Shiga originally. The new construction of the outlet passages from the PA to an IC is enabled structurally.
