Kana Yamawaki

Kana Yamawaki (the mountain springs out kana, September 1, 1984 -) is a Japanese gymnast. I am from Gifu. Prefectural Gifu commercial high school, Tsukuba University physical fitness group graduation. I am from a bit exercises club. 茗渓 club position. A pride item is the uneven parallel bars, the balance beam. 152cm tall.

I have Kyoji Yamawaki (professor at existing Gifu University) of the Los Angeles Olympics exercises men's team copper medalist to father.

Career

• What began exercises from a first grader. The reason be recommended to father who was a player.
• I win the first title by an all-Japan youth championship in 1997. I achieve a third place winning prize in all Japan of the same year.
• I win an all-Japan youth championship consecutively in 1998.
• 1999 NHK cup individual all-round first championship. The title at 15 years old (junior high student) is the first time in history. International youth individual all-round championship. I participate in the world championship. I come to attract attention as a Japanese young ace.
• 2000 NHK cup individual all-round 2 straight victory. With the results, I participate in the Sydney Olympics with Miho Takenaka. It is the 29th place by individual all-round.
• I withdrew from the front line and went away from a representative from Japan afterwards.
• After Tsukuba University graduation, I belong to the 茗渓 club in 2007. I was picked by a Universiade representative while I played an active part as member of society and carried out the representative return of the swing since the Sydney Olympics for seven years.
