Junnosuke Sawazaki

Junnosuke Sawazaki (さわさきじゅんのすけ, May 10, 1931 -) is an American literary person, translator, professor emeritus at Showa Women's University.

Career

I am from Tokyo. An older brother of Kohei Sawazaki of the French literary person. I am a graduate from the Tokyo University Department of English literature and I study under Masters degree course in Institute of university completion, Masao Hirai in 1955 and learn British poetry for 1,953 years. I study in New York University in lecturer at Tokyo Metropolitan University, assistant professor, 1969 in 國學院大學講師, 1961 and, through のち professor, teach Showa Women's University in 1989. I win Yomiuri literary prize in "Patterson" in 1995. 2006 retirement at the age limit, a honorary professor.

It changes from British poetry to American poetry and specializes in William Carlo's Williams. I perform the classic translation including short story, poetry and Eliot of Edgar ポオ.
