A name and origin of "Inaba"
It is old and, about notation of "Inaba", is written with "Inaba" in "a predecessors in the family line past event biography of an emperor" "a rice feather" with "a description of folk history" [1].
The origin is not sure, but, in Inaba Shrine (Tottori-shi Tachikawa), conveys a company name with the origin of the name of the Inaba country.

The domain just before the Meiji Restoration is current Tottori-shi, Tottori, Iwami-gun, Yazu-gun.
History
It is said that it is old and was a domain of 稲葉国造 [1]. The Inaba country as the ancient ordinance country was formed in the seventh century.
The whole families of Inaba Yamana acted as the protection of the Inaba country in the Muromachi era, but the rule base of the person of protection was weaker than the Yamanas of neighboring Tajima and Hoki. Therefore the Tajima Soriyos intervened in a feud of succession to a house, and there was the part which the political situation was unstable in. In addition, pro-service a large number of people having high independency local people exist in eight a lot in the Inaba southern part such as eight east, and hang of these local people in ... Chokyo era year in the civilization year, and last for twice; is in rebellion. (Revolt of Jiro Mori)
Rule of Inaba Yamana continues for the age of civil strife, but Inaba becomes the ground of the social confusion of Oda, Mori because power of Inaba Yamana declined by internal troubles. In addition, the Takeda high sincerity who tied up a handle to Mori escalated power, but was not able to grow up by the daimyo who ruled over one country. The Inaba alone was put under the control of Oda by Hideyoshi Hashiba after Tottori Castle fell.
I was divided in the early period of Edo era by plural daimyos, but Ikeda ruled over Inaba as a daimyo of Tottori feudal clan 32 Mangoku until the Meiji Restoration afterwards.
