Guard of the royal family music

"Guard of the royal family music" (はんかんふ) is a family lore, genealogy book of the Edo era. The author is Hakuseki Arai of the scholar of Confucianism. All 12 volumes. I am called by the abbreviated designation with the feudal clan music (はんぷ).

It is established (1702) for Genroku era 15 years. I collected origin and 事績 of the person of daimyos 337 who edited it in response to の command full of (1700), the Tokugawa ropes of the Kofu feudal lord for Genroku era 13 years and touched a genealogy. Contents until (1680) are collected for Enpo era eight years from (1600) for Keicho era five years. There was 誤呈 of the fact with a thing finished in short time and increased supplementary sections with corrections after Shiraishi. Hereditary daimyo, 7-10 volumes are the descriptions of the daimyo who was not a hereditary vassal of the shogun clan of Shogun Tokugawa's relatives (Tokugawa many houses), 2-6 volumes Vol. 1, and, as for remaining two volumes, it is the record of the abolished daimyo as follows. Because I was transmitted by a manuscript, there are many a difference and variant texts of Makiji.

"Guard of the royal family music sequel" (はんかんふぞくへん) is writing by Kansen Okada and others of Sadao Sena and the scholar of Confucianism of the shogun's retainer.
