The bridge which links Nakanoshima to Dojima where Dojima Ohashi (I agree Mao chopsticks) appears in the Dojima River of Osaka-shi のあみだ 池筋 (municipal road 13, Dojima Line) (the Kyu-Yodo River).

It links the 5, Nakanoshima, Kita-ku .6 chome to 1, Tamagawa, Fukushima-ku, Osaka-shi, 3, Fukushima.

There are Osaka international convention facility (Grand cube Osaka) and Keihan Nakanoshima Line Nakanoshima Station in the south side of the bridge.

History

• The first bridge was constructed in (1883) in 1883. It was bridge long 83.4m, a tree of width 3.6m bridge. However, I have been washed away by a deluge of (1885) in 1885.
• I was changed to bridge long 72m, a tree of width 5.4m bridge in (1909) in 1909.
• With maintenance of the 13, Nakanoshima Line by the city planning business, I was improved as a streetcar bridge and was changed (1927) in a current bridge in September in 1927. The construction is Hitachi Zosen. Because the ground of this neighborhood was soft, it was difficulty construction to dig it to 25m by the foundation work, and to cast 900 foundation pillars.
• I suffer from the air raid by U.S. forces of June (1945) in 1945, and traces such as a black fret of the railing of the stone remain now.

• The lower part mechanic of both ends is a steel reinforced concrete arch type bent. The central part upper part mechanic is a steel frame downhill path 2 hinge solid rib arch.
• Bridge long 76.12m, 22.56m in width.
• A span of the central part is 54.86m.
